Shopping can sometimes be difficult. I often hear from my customers: “I can’t find what I want. They don’t have it in my size. It’s the wrong colour. It won’t arrive in time or I have my favourite dress at home, can you remake it?” The good news is yes, I can!

From t-shirts to day dresses, bridesmaids’ gowns to mother of the bride outfits, and so much more, I create it all. I’m a Melbourne based dressmaker with 23 years of professional experience and a keen eye for detail.

The Process

Initial Consultation
We’ll discuss the garment piece, style, fabric type, fabric quantity, and your specific needs and preferences. We’ll also schedule fitting appointments and set a finish date. Your measurements will be taken (please ensure you wear the correct bra on this day). A small deposit is required, and then I’ll send you fabric shopping. Don’t worry, this is the fun part for you! I’ll guide you to the best places within your budget.

First Fitting
Please bring your undergarments, shoes, and chosen fabric. You’ll try on a “mock up” so I can ensure the correct shape, size, and style of your design. At this stage, another deposit is made.

Second Fitting
Your design will now be brought to life in your chosen fabric, and together we’ll tweak the details to perfect its shape. Depending on the complexity of the design, we may schedule an additional fitting. If it’s a simpler design, the next appointment will be your pickup day, when you’ll take home your new wardrobe bestie! The final payment is made at pickup.
